KDS Learn is built for discipline, not surveillance. We only collect the data needed to strengthen focus routines, amplify feedback, and keep the experience safe for students and educators. Here’s how we handle it with care.

Signal Collection

We track only the interactions that help students improve focus: session starts, pauses, distractions, browser changes, and camera-based behavior cues for accountability. No personal messages or unrelated content is watched.

Data Use

Trimmed telemetry powers focus scores, streak nudges, and behavior logs inside focus mode. Nothing is sold; everything is modelled to help learners understand their habits and get actionable feedback.

Retention + Security

Behavior logs stay attached to each session and are purged after 90 days unless a learner chooses to export them. Access is restricted to authenticated teammates and encrypted in transit and at rest.

Students can request a copy of their focus sessions anytime.

Pause focus mode data collection by pausing or ending a session.

Correction

Spot an error in captured behaviour? Reach out and we will amend the record.

Delete your account to wipe your profile, sessions, and linked telemetry.

Transparency

What we don’t do

We do not read or store social messages, emails, or documents.
We do not track location beyond what is necessary for compliance.
We do not sell, rent, or share telemetry with third parties for marketing.
